What types of massage do we do?
We offer one type of work - Therapeutic relaxation
We have taken the best of all the massage modalities — sports massage, trigger point therapy, nervous system relaxation techniques, Thai, Swedish, and many more — to give you a massage like you’ve never had. It will give you lasting relief, and with that comes lasting relaxation when your chronic neck and back pain are gone.
You can find us on 26th Street, less than 10 blocks from Penn Station and steps away from Chelsea Tower. We are smack dab in the center between FIT, the Empire State Building, and the Flatiron Building. Whether you need a quick 30-minute tune-up or an extensive medical reset for your body, we are conveniently located in the heart of Manhattan and ready to set up a care plan that fits the needs of your body and schedule.
What is the Roundhead?
This little smiley face is something my late step father used to draw on any scrap of paper or napkin he could find. It was always accompanied by a little note that said “love you” or “make smart choices” or something like that.
He would pack it in my Mom’s lunch or leave it on the kitchen table for us before he left for the day. So, my mom started lovingly calling him Roundhead. When he passed, I found 20 years’ worth of these notes; I picked my favorite and had it tattooed on my arm. 7 years later, I had to name my company. I thought, “what better way to give some love and caring back to the world than with this symbol of love and affection from the man who raised me.” Massage is dance between therapist and client that takes education and medical knowledge (of course) but it also requires caring for the body underneath your hands. This symbol perfectly represents that for us at Roundhead Wellness.

About Nick Rini
Hello, beautiful humans. I could have written this bio in the third-person but I thought I’d talk to you directly. So, Hi! I’m Nick Rini, founder and CEO of Roundhead Wellness. I am a recovering dancer/singer with a passion for body work, because I’ve always desperately needed it.
I graduated from the one and only Swedish Institute here in NYC (insert applause here). I’m a born and raised New Yorker who knows exactly what this city, with an active life style and career, can put your body through. I’m also a gay millennial, so I know what our tech does to our bodies - and I want to help!
Some have called me a “tech neck warrior,” or at least they will once I properly coin the phrase, I hope. I have had so many bad massages in my life, and as a dancer with structural kyphosis, I cannot condone a $200 lotioning sold as “deep tissue.” It is my goal to run this company from a place of abundance and make sure that every one of you gets what your body needs no matter your sexual orientation, size, gender, creed or color.
You’re stunning and you deserve it!
